Scooter boarding?

My mother will have her GoGo Travel scooter for boarding on Princess. We had Princess bring a wheelchair previously. Will the boarding experience be similar if she "drives herself"?

I have a travelscoot which I used on our last Princess cruise. I rode the scooter from our car (we drove to Ft. Lauderdale) to the check-in entry. From there to our cabin was easy on the scooter. I did have the option to break down the scooter and put it in the duffel bag but chose to ride it on.

Will we in the "regular" group or "wheelchair" group for boarding? She can walk for short distances. We are Platinum.

You'll be in the 'wheelchair' group. I too have a Travelscoot and scooted onto the ship and into the dining room for lunch!
