Can any previous Costa Cruiser tell me if they have art auctions like other cruiselines such as Carnival and Celebrity?

Yes they do and I actually saw some art that they have in galleries here in Ft. Lauderdale. There was a lot to select from.

We just returned from our first Costa cruise, and they did indeed have art auctions. In fact, I've never seen so many paintings in one place ( there was a storage room near the theatre that was chock full of them...) I'm surprised to hear that other cruise lines do auctions as well.

I know that Costa's decor/themes are more European style...how about their shows?

 

Thanks so much Linda and Ta421sBTrHalf for you quick response. I have been on 8 cruises thus far and am contemplating booking a cruise on the Costa Mediterranea in April. My husband and I love art so we truly enjoy the auctions.

 

From what I've read you either Love Costa or Hate it. Because we are intrigued by beautiful art and European flair, I think we will be very pleased with this ship.
