Last Silly Solstice Question

Has to be the last one, as we are leaving for the port in 2 hours.

 

Been cruising before, and some boats when we embark we can get to our room, even if we don't have our luggage. On others we cannot get to our room at all.

 

So question is: On Solstice, which is it? Can we get to our room, even if no luggage? And if we can't, what is people's experience as to when they open up the rooms?

There is absolutely no hard and fast rule about this. It all depends on if the room is cleaned from the last guest and has passed the housekeeper's inspection, on what time you board, etc. Maybe your room will be ready for you to access it, maybe it won't. It has nothing to do with the luggage, by the way, which may take many hours to show up.

Last yr in Europe we waited approx 90 min( in Lido with a nice lunch) until rooms were released. Relax they have to clean a great number of cabins & public spaces. Have lunch, a frozen drink &relax its a vacation
