potterduck Posted July 4, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2010 Sailing in just under 2 weeks, I've just come online to prepay for my kids soda packages, have I got this right - pay on ship @ $4.60 + 15% x 14 days = $74.06 or book online now for £44.44, they're using an exchange rate of 1.67. If I book onboard, pay at end of cruise with credit card in $ my bank are likely to charge about 1.50, costing me about £49. Am I working this out right? Need to know before I prebook excursions etc, whether to do it now or later?
DrSeuss Posted July 4, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2010 Looks right to me - now I might have to do it too! Just got 1.46 exchange for cash. Seems like the right thing to do to me.

I have an existing one from Florida last year with Nationwide, they have no foreign exchange fees either, just need to give them a call in case they get alarmed when I pay my bar bill :D
