wiltonjam Posted July 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2010 Hi, Can anyone tell me if the soller train is able to take a folded up wheelchair please as we have someone travelling with us who needs one to walk long distances? We are interested in doing the train by ourselves. Thank you any advice gratefully received.
FiggyWig Posted July 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2010 There are different trains you can go on, all going along the same track. We went on the scenic train and yes, I think a wheelchair should not be a problem. There is space at the end of each carriage where you could store the wheelchair folded. beanozak Posted July 6, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2010 We took this train last year, I use a wheelchair, at Soller station we could not find the way to the platform without going up a flight of steps. My husband had to carry my wheelchair up these steps:eek: and I had to walk. If you go on the organised tour from the boat, ask the guide before he leaves you in Soller, how to get the wheelchair on to the platform. It was a very nice train ride, very pretty views.
