Quarters in Carnival casinos

I know you have to put your S&S card in machine to either download money to gamble or to deposit winnings into your bank, but can you still put quarters in the slots and have your card inserted to keep track of your winnings? I have always liked putting quarters in the slots and have been saving them all year to gamble with.

The only machines that take quarters are the landslide machines where the quarter lands on the shelf and an arm sweeps back and forth. As the quarters build, stuff falls off that you get to keep.

I certainly wouldn't want to travel with pounds and pounds of quarters!

My only "sin" is quarters. I don't fly with them, I don't bring wine or sodas in my carryon or in my checked luggage to the ship, I enjoy saving them all year and playing with them in casinos, I did not ask whether you would or wouldn't want to carry them, I asked whether quarters can be put in slots on Carnival, sheesh!.

I agree! That's all she asked. I would imagine that she wouldn't care if they weigh 50 lbs. and costs her $25 to transport in her suitcase. :D

I was on the Carnival Imagination in May. I put quarters in the machine, while have my S&S card in the slot. Then I just put my winnings on the card and cashed out. They had a quarter changer in the casino, and a "bucket" to put your quarters in.

I certainly wouldn't want to handle a bunch of dirty coins. Paper is clean and crisp.
