junior8 Posted July 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Hi everyone, I just posted this on the RCCL thread however it might have been best posted here... I was on a cruise years back on the old lady Sovereign of the Seas. It was fun, but I was sick. :( Not seasick - I had pneumonia came to find out. Anyway, I am looking into taking my niece as a graduation present on Explorer next June. Her father has not given me the OK yet and he is hesitant. I am wondering if I book it and he says no would I be able to change to another person or drop a passenger and cruise single? I am aware of the 200% for cruising single. But I am determined to get back on a ship even if I go alone. Brenda
firefly333 Posted July 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Dont book early saver rate then, because your whole deposit isnt refundable once you book. Any other rate is refundable until final payment.
paul929207 Posted July 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Most fares are fully refundable until final payment (75 days before sailing). Some travel agents charge a cancelation fee - avoid them
Rare Keith1010 Posted July 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Brenda, I would highly recommend that you contact the cruise line directly on this to be sure you get the correct answer to your question. Keith
