Shore excursions in Israel

I have contacted GTI and they are much more expensive than Ramses in Egypt. Can anyone recommend another shore excursions operator in Israel?

Egypt is much cheaper than Israel in general. From the research I did, it seems GTI has some of the better prices in Israel, which is one reason they are so popular, I presume. (And no, I didn't book with them, so this is not an endorsement!)

UMMMM -- for us, this was the trip of a lifetime. We did not go looking for the least expensive tour guide, we went looking for the best!

 

For Israel, Avitours gets really rave reviews on this board and elsewhere. We had a wonderful two days with them and would highly recommend them.

It appears that you are comparing apples and oranges. Across the board everything is more expensive in Israel then in Egypt. We are using Ramses in Egypt and GTI in Israel. We have 10 in our group and we are being charged less then $100 per person per day for an overnight excursion. We do not believe that is expensive. There are many Israeli tour guides as they are regulated by the Israel government so it is hard to go wrong. Do a search on this thread for Israel guides and many people have given great reviews.

Everything is more expensive in Israel and Italy. You cn't use Ramses prices to anything in Israel or Italy.
