During certain hours there is a charge. Most people tip when food is bought - since it is a tip, you can do as you choose. However, you will have different people each time you order.

A service charge is applied after midnight otherwise it is free. You tip your server per order.

It should be noted the $3.95 after hours room service charge does include the tip.

It should also be noted that if you order room service close to midnight (like 10 minutes before) and your order is delivered after midnight, they might charge you the room service fee anyway.

 

The waiter varies based on times and who is available. If you plan to tip, bring a few small bills and give them to the waiter when your order is delivered. The next time you call, you will probably have someone else.
