My deepest condolences to the families & crew affected by this tragedy.

I've cruised on the Splendida & have walked through the large aerobridge gangways of Genoa 3 times. I found the ship & it's staff to be very experienced & professional at their jobs at all times. The Port Buildings in Genoa are not new, however everything seemed to be in perfect working order the times I used them. Unfortunately, sometimes accidents do just happen. An investigation may perhaps prove otherwise, but right now I think it's silly for people to come out saying all sorts of bad things about the Line & the ship, especially from some people who have never even sailed with them. MSC has one of the newest fleets in the world worth billions of dollars. I personally witnessed safety taken very seriously while I was onboard, the last thing MSC would want is for customers to get injured or lose their life in this way.

Our experience with the Splendida & MSC was purely positive & I hope that all other future passengers enjoy the same positive & safe experience!
