2-liter Pepsi

I know Carnival allows a 12-pack of beverages per person. Can we take 2-liter bottles instead? How many would we be allowed?

I honestly don't know. I know that I'm planning on bringing the 6 pack of the 20oz bottles with me instead of the cans.

 

Why don't you call carnival and ask?

It says 12 nonalchoholic drinks per person.

 

I guess I dont see why people are confused?? It does not specify a size, any size, 12 is the limit.

Here is a copy and paste of the exact wording on the FAQs

 

On embarkation day, guests may bring a small quantity (package of 12 per person) of non-alcoholic beverages onboard, only in their carry-on luggage.

I have brought 2 liter bottles of Pepsi One onboard each cruise packed in my carry on. Usually 2 bottles for DH. Never had an issue.

TreeHugger, ( AZ Karaoke Girl, too), understand the rules have changed since you last cruise. What you did before April/May 2010 no longer holds!

 

As far as liter bottles versus cans. 2x2liter bottles is less soda than 12x12oz cans. Maybe you can take it in a carryon but be prepared to leave it behind if they tell you to do so. Unless someone pipes up that they had 2 liter bottles confiscated, you might as well try. Then let the rest of us know how you made out.
