Night out in Bridgtown?

sandbox

Recommended Posts

I have an overnighter in Bridgetown and was wondering apart from Harbour lights and The Boatyard is there any suggestions of any other bars in that area?

Really looking for bars for people watching and not too younger crowd but not too quite either.

A nice beach bar with a bit of atmosphere?:)

What day are you in town? Where are you staying?

The above info would determine what suggestions we should/can make.

I have visited Barbados many times - one of my favorite places in the world! Head to St. Lawrence Gap......many bars and places along the strip there - always something fun happening. Another spot for Friday nights is Oistens - they have a fish fry but it is a huge party on the beach.

Hit Friday night Oistins fish-fry for dinner, hang out until 10 p.m. or so

- and then head for St.Lawrence Gap! ;)

Many thanks for all the great suggestions:)

We are actually looking for somewhere in central Bridgtown within walking distance to the ship.

Have found the Waterfront Cafe.

Any others near by would be appreciated.

Thursday night is their real busy, popular night

-when V.S.O.P. Dixieland Jazz Band plays there(been doing that since Man settled the Earth..)

Sundays, Waterfront is closed..although some of the Jazz guys then hang out at Lobster Alive, 300 yds. up Bay Street

where they play a bit after lunch, I'm told.

Bring your sax or trumpet -they love it when folks sit in with them.
