verandah vs midship veranda on Silver Spirit

We are thinking of doing a Singapore to Dubai cruise this spring. Other than stability, what are potential positives of booking a midship veranda suite vs a veranda suite?....and which deck (6,7,8?)?

 

We are also considering the similar itinerary on Seabourn Sojourn, but like the Silversea itinerary better. Any good reason to go to Seabourn over Silversea? From these posts there are pros and cons to each. In the past we have taken these boards as personal preference and use as guidance only.

 

This will be a "honeymoon" cruise....finally getting married 10 years and 3 children later.....a getaway without children...it will be a nice change for a couple weeks and want to relax and be spoiled a bit

Think this should be posted on the Silversea board where there are many members with Silversea experience. You may also want to start a thread on one of both boards asking about Seabourn Sojourn vs. Silver Spirit.
