Considering taking public bus to Butchart Gardens. Assume bus only takes Canadian currency. If this assumption is correct, where would we find an ATM closest to the Ogden Point pier?

There is a currency exchange office right at the pier. The bus fare (currently) would be $2.50 per person. If there are two people, you just need a five dollar bill, otherwise be sure to ask for coins at the exchange as the bus drivers cannot make change.

You would also likely be able to get Canadian currency at the passenger service desk aboard the ship. You will be able to use $US anywhere else in Victoria so I would just purchase enough for the bus.

Actually I think the buses on board ticket machines will accept US Coins - so get a hand full of quarters etc and put them in and save yourself some time - perhaps Scott can verify as he uses transit more than I do.
