Temple Valley of Agrigento - UNESCO Heritage Site

Hi - We're booked to do the Temple Valley of Agrigento excursion on the Brilliance of the Seas in November. This is our only Italian port and my husband *really* wants to try Sicilian pizza. The description of the excursion says that "local foods are sampled", but it doesn't specify what. Has anyone else done this excursion? Can you provide more information? Or, can anyone say if a slice of pizza is easily obtained near the cruise ship terminal so that we could grab a slice on our way back to the ship?

Thanks!
