Vancouver baggage handlers

we are going on the Diamond Princess next week out of Vancouver, please tell me how much is normal, per bag, to give to the baggage handlers art the dock?

$2 per is generally reasonable.

I have never heard of anyone in Vancouver preferring Canadian over $USA due to the fact that usually the $USA is worth a little more than Canadian and we have many foreign exchange outlets in Vancouver......We love $USA...:)

We usually give them $2 per bag rounding it up to nearest $5. As a Canadian, I tip them in $CDN but they are quite happy with $US, there is no reason to rush out and purchase $CDN just to tip them.:)

We give whatever we have in our pocket - US and Canadian combined sometimes.

I usually tip $5 per bag anywhere I travel for handlers. With the weight of bags today it is the least I can do to try and pay for the wear and tear on their backs.

 

For $5 a bag they have always taken my bags across the street to the Fairmont Waterfront Centre as well.
