Anyone know about RCCL hotels?

My parents are doing an RCCL cruisetour next week on the Radiance of the Seas. Does anyone know what hotels RCCL uses for the land portion after the cruise? Specifically in Denali and before departure from the airport in Anchorage? They can't find anything specific. Thanks for any information!

This should help. OP is currently on the cruise portion having done the land part first.

P.S. 2010 RCCL Alaska printed brochure says they use:

Seward Windsong; Hotel Alyeska, Girdwood; Anchorage Downtown Marriott; Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge; McKinley Village Lodge; Pike's Waterfront Lodge (Fairbanks).

So they won't be roughing it :)

Yep - we were in the McKinley Village Lodge in Denali, and the Downtown Marriott in Anchorage just a short month ago. It was Pike's Waterfront Lodge in Fairbanks, but you were more concerned about the other two.

But I'm a little confused about not finding anything specific? Do they have an invoice from Royal Caribbean? Our invoice listed all of the hotels specifically on the bottom.

I agree. Our itinerary from the very time we booked our June Alaska cruise tour, listed the hotels where we would stay. In our case it was the Wedgewood resort in Fairbanks (excellent), Grande Denali Lodge (impressive facility that provided subpar service while we were there but may have improved recently), Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge (excellent property with great views and superior food and service, and the Downtown Anchorage Marriott (a typically very good Marriott property.

RCI also uses several other properties but all of them are very high quality and your parents should find whichever lodging they have more than satisfactory. We previously did a similar cruisetour with Princess and were quite satisfied with the quality of the cruisetour, but RCI's cruisetour arrangements exceeded Princess' in every way. They should have a wonderful trip.:)
