LAC2 Posted August 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2010 We love traditional dining but have never tried the late seating so we booked that for this year's trip. We are really looking forward to experiencing the Caribbean sunsets this time. With late seating (8:15pm) what theater show should we attend? I don't know what time each show begins or ends. On the Emerald Eastern Caribbean cruise is it your experience that you need to arrive 30 minutes prior to show start? Appreciate the input. paul929207 Posted August 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2010 The show is usually scheduled for about 10:30pm giving you plenty of time to eat dinner and get to the show. I am not sure about the Emerald, but on some Princess ships, some evenings the show for second seating is at 7pm, so you go before dinner.
vickie_bernie Posted August 11, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2010 for second seating you probably should go to the early show which is around 7 pm which is great because I find that the 7 pm show is not as crazy busy as the second show. the Emerald is very good about scheduling their shows to accommodate the dynamics of the cruise.
