PennyB Posted February 11, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2005 We are traveling on the Oosterdam on 3/5 for Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. My question is are you tendered or docked at these places? If tendered has anyone ever experienced missing this port because of not being able to use the tenders? If you were to purchase a shore excursion ahead of time and NOT thru the ship, would you be out your $$$ if the port was canceled?
Twickenham Posted February 11, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2005 Cabo San Lucas is a tender port, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan you dock. When we were in Cabo last month, there was no problem with tendering, went very smoothly. I would think if you miss the port and have booked excursions with the ship they would reimburse you. Ine Posted February 12, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2005 P. Vallarta can be tenders, if other ships are in port.
pvpam Posted February 12, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2005 On a day when there is only one ship then you will dock. If there is more than one, then you will tender - it is easy and not too far out!
