Would you drive?

Parking at Port Everglades is $15 (includes tax) per day, Park N Fly is $12 per day plus 6.59 percent tax ($92.54 for 7 days), but their web site says AAA members get a 15% discount. Park N Go is currently running a summer special for $5.99 per day, but that expires on 10/31, so most likely the rates will be their standard rates of $12 per day/$10.50 for AAA Member ($12.72 and $11.13), Their tax rate is a little lower than Park N Fly and I don't know why.

Hotels in the FLL/Port Everglades are a bit pricey in December so even with free parking for 7 days it will cost you double or maybe triple to stay the night before rather than drive the morning of.

Personally, I'd drive, park at Park N Go and take their shuttle directly to your ship. Even if you park at Port Everglades you'll have to schlep your luggage a ways. Just do the math.
