Grandeur of the Seas Sept. 20,2010

Excited about upcoming cruise. This will be our 1st time on Grandeur of the Seas. Would love to hear some reviews of the ship! :rolleyes:

We just booked that same cruise. Never been on the Grandeur but it sounds like she is in good shape and looking forward to trying this class of ship. I was hoping to get copies of the compass and maybe menus also.

we will be there also! his is our 2nd cruise on the ship and we love it. i cant believe its under the 30 day mark now! :) id like to see menu's to

We're also going on the Grandeur of the Seas Sept. 20th. This will be our very first cruise, though not planned by us - planned by my in-laws. From what I've read and heard so far, this was definitely not the best option for us with a 3 1/2 year old and an 8 month old. Our son (8 months) is not allowed in any of the pools, even with swim diapers, and there is no "Baby SplashZone" on this ship for him to enjoy. No bath tub in the state rooms either, so bathing our infant is going to be a challenge also. Right now we're trying to choose excursions, but that's proving to be a challenge.....our daughter likes to swim, but I don't think she'd understand how to snorkel, and I don't know how to find out if any of these snorkel ships have swim boards with "windows" for her to use.

 

If anyone has any advice for us since we're traveling with two little ones, we'd very much appreciate it! We've traveled all over, but this is our first cruise and we just don't know what to expect.

Thanks so much. I was just in the process of reading some of them.....so far it looks like this cruise ship is NOT good for little ones, especially our son. Not really anything we can do about that since we're not the ones who planned the trip. :(
