Which cabin to choose on Equinox

SF

Recommended Posts

We are thinking of booking a cruise on Equinox and have two cabins to choose from. The first cabin is 7158 an inside and cabin 6167 a balcony but I believe it is listed as partial obstructed.

The balcony cabin is about 130.00 more per person for the 10 day sailing. Being that we are three people is it worth the little extra space?

Also, does anyone know how obstructed cabin 6167's balcony is?

We can also upgrade to deck 9 and a better cabin but that would require more money again. Should we consider that option also?

I would definitely do the balcony. That is not much extra money for a having a nice addition to your stateroom. In general the obstruction on that deck is that the lifeboats are one level below the balcony and stick out some off the side of the ship, so if you are at the edge of the balcony, you cannot look straight down to the sea. Your view looking straight outwards though would not be obstructed. Again this applies to most staterooms listed as having an obstruction on deck six, but you should search for info on that particular stateroom to make sure it is not something more significant.
