LoveAces Posted August 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2010 We are looking forward to Celebrity's Eclipse New Year's cruise in the Caribbean. We are two families each traveling with adult (20's) children. Although we are booked in the Aqua Class, we're wondering if our kids (booked in balcony) will be able to dine with us in Blu. Is this possible and what would the charges be? Alternatively, would they feel out of place booked in Aqua? Thanks for your suggestions!

I do not believe that they can join you unless they are in a suite; and, that would be only on a space available basis with a surcharge.
Denny01 Posted August 29, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2010 We've wanted to try AQ and Blu but traveled with friends and a group that didnt' go AQ so we all booked normal Balcony and CC and dined together at the MDR. The only way you can consistently dine together is in the MDR - even as AQ, you can drop out of Blu and dine at MDR with them. They can't join you in Blu, as stated before. We understand Blu is very good and healthy dining (and does have steaks and so on so not health-food only) and your 'kids' in their 20's should fit in just fine. I'd personally recommend you all book the same - either all go standard SRs and dine MDR, or all go AQ and dine Blu. Denny
bryanjaync Posted August 29, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 29, 2010 From everything i have read, Blu does not make exceptions....AQ or suites if space available. period.
AJD Posted August 29, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 29, 2010 If your kids don't feel out of place in the main dining room there is no reason why they would in Aqua, but, as others have said, they have to be booked in Aqua.
