PineappleGal Posted September 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Is there a Beverage Station on the Ruby or any of the ships like Carnival? (didn't want to mention the C word but that's all i know besides Royal) Is there one? Can you refill during the day? like Iced Tea, Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Cranberry Etc. Is there an Ice Cream machine located on the ships and where? What about 24 Hour Pizza? What else am I missing? Please help me, I want to become a Future Princess Cruiser! Oh, wait.... What ship is the best?

What ship is the best? There are several beverage stations by the Buffet, but all you will find there is coffee, teas and water. Juice is available with breakfast complimentary either in the dining room or served by waiters in the Horizon Court Buffet, after that there is a charge at other times of the day for juice. Princess does not offer self service ice cream machines, but you will have complimentary soft serve by the pool (depending on if you will be sailing on a larger or one of the smaller ships. This is not offered on the smaller ships of the fleet). Pizza is also out by the pool, but it is not available 24/7.

vmom Posted September 1, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Ice cream machine is located on the Lido deck on most ships. Ice tea, coffee, tea and water are available all day. I read some where that lemonade was to be added, but I don't know since I prefer ice tea. Juices are available in the mornings. No free soda. If you want soda, you can purchase it or buy a soda card. The pizza is available most of the time, not sure if its 24 hour or not. The pizza is really good. the buffet is available 24 hours. Which ship? For me it depends on what ports I want to go to. I haven't found a Princess ship that I didn't like.

Toto2Kansas Posted September 1, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Which Ship should I take? That all depends on what you are looking for. Medium ship, Big Ship, huge ship or tiny ship. There are lots to choose from. They range from just over 600 passengers to well over 3000.

PineappleGal Posted September 1, 2010 Author #10 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Huge ship then if you are looking at the Ruby. ;) See I need to use my airfare on Southwest and I'm thinking a school break. Also need to use it by June. Plus, I need something out of Fort Lauderdale or Miami. Any suggestions are welcome...please?
Toto2Kansas Posted September 1, 2010 #11 Share Posted September 1, 2010 All Princess ships sail from Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades). So, it wouldn't matter which Princess ship you booked, they will sail from Port Everglades.
Shifra Posted September 1, 2010 #12 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Lemonade is also available in the buffet. As far as which ship, that is a tough question to answer since everyone likes something different. If you choose the Ruby I think that would be good for you. That class of ship has all the extras and ammenities that big ships are known for, but on a more elegant scale than Carnival with less daytime activities. No waterslides, rock climbing, ice skating like you would find on Royal Caribbean.
MandD Posted September 1, 2010 #13 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Fresh baked pizza available by pool. Not so fresh pizza usually available at night in the 24 hour buffet.
