I just did a search of the Samba Room to check their menus. The web site listed only Denver and Orlando. Does that mean the Fort Lauderdale location has closed? I was hoping to go there precruise.

It closed very recently. A couple of years back I went there for a business dinner with 5 people at 6PM. We were expecting a 6th person who had not yet arrived. The hostess refused to seat us because our entire party wasn't there, and "that's our policy" even though there was no one else in the entire restaurant! The 6th person was arriving about 20 minutes late, so we went next door for our dinner. The manager asked if everything was ok when she saw us leaving and I told her that we have a policy that we don't follow stupid rules!
