hobbyhrs97 Posted September 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2010 I have never tried rum cake before but alot of people on here post how yummy it is and I want to try it! Where in Cozumel is the best place to buy rum cake? Are certain brands better then others? Any thoughts would be helpful!:D Thanks
kcparrothead Posted September 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2010 I've not noticed them in Cozumel, but you can buy Tortuga Rum Cakes at the gift shop on the ship. They are YUMMY!

whyrlygig Posted September 4, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 4, 2010 They seem to be availible at all airports now. We've even seen them at a local supermarket in the twin cities area!
angiemom Posted September 7, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 7, 2010 I also bought mine on the ship. It was so much easier than hauling them around while touring, The gift shop seemed to go through lots, so I wasn't worried about freshness. Everyone we brought them home for raved about them. Zada Posted September 8, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 8, 2010 I don't know if you can find these in Cozumel or not but I prefer the Calypso rum cakes to the Tortuga ones.

DebJ14 Posted November 15, 2010 #11 Share Posted November 15, 2010 If your cruise stops in Grand Cayman go to the Torguga Rum Cake Factory. You can sample all of the different flavors and buy your favorite. That is the only place I have seen with the full selection of flavors.
