6MonthsHere6MonthsThere Posted September 4, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2010 Anyone able to give me some advice on which deck to choose for a balcony cabin please?? Thanks, Barbara:) Deck 9, as you will be on a fairly high deck but you will have cabins above and below you, where as on deck 10 depending where your cabin is situated you can sometimes hear chairs from the windjammer or loungers from the pool area being dragged around, especially if you are a late riser or a early to bed person:)
sandian Posted September 4, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2010 Deck six midship near or on the hump, one floor down to the promenade and right next to the elevators.
Ashland Posted September 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2010 Yes...Deck 9..we have been lucky and have sailed in #9638 a couple of times ..love the middle hump location..March will have #9326 because we wanted the two interior cabins #'s 9325 & 9327 across the hall for our adult kids..Deck #9 midship is our favorite..Enjoy whatever cabin you are able to book !!! cb at sea Posted September 4, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 4, 2010 Deck 10 midship...never had a noise issue and since we spend most of our time at the pool, being only 1 flight of stairs away is a bonus!
LoisGriffin1 Posted September 4, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 4, 2010 Oh thank you for this thread. I picked deck 9 so very happy to hear its a good one.
buffalogrill Posted September 4, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 4, 2010 I really enjoyed my hump cabin on deck 9, but deck 8 is also really convenient... 3 decks down to the promenade... 3 decks up to Windjammer, pools and gym.
DonnaK Posted September 4, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 4, 2010 The truth is that you really cannot have a bad balcony on this ship. Any deck will do - we like 6 because of its proximity to the entertainment venues and dining room. I think that a mid-ship location, near a stair/elevator lobby is more important than the deck.
