Colo Cruiser Posted September 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2010 HI, do Princess cruises have irons and ironing boards in rooms? Irons are not allowed in cabins. They are available in laundry rooms on each deck.

bhopal21 Posted September 6, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2010 Irons are too much of a fire hazard and are not permitted in the cabin. Mike:)
Loonbeam Posted September 7, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2010 Not to mention a power load on the cabin systems... Irons are too much of a fire hazard and are not permitted in the cabin. Mike:)
Va_Cruizer Posted September 7, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 7, 2010 Ironing boards and irons are always available in the laundry rooms even when all the machines are busy with the possible exception of an hour before dinner on formal nights. Those nights you better off getting it done early. Kevin

Times Prince Posted September 7, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 7, 2010 Ironing boards and irons are always available in the laundry rooms even when all the machines are busy with the possible exception of an hour before dinner on formal nights. Those nights you better off getting it done early. Kevin FYI there is no charge for use of the irons. They are also on timers so they will turn off if inadvertently left on. We have also found that some items, like tuxedo shirts, can be sent out for pressing (for a fee) and come back in marvelous shape.
Rare PatriciaF Posted September 7, 2010 #9 Share Posted September 7, 2010 Try hanging lightly wrinkled items in the bathroom when someone is showering the steam usually will remove most wrinkles or, my favorite, Downey Wrinkle Release! I would agree that you should iron any formal wear that needs it early in the day.
