bookbabe Posted September 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2010 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1273370 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1261600 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1268416 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1260736 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1262295 That's just a few of the snorkelling and/or Seven Mile Beach threads on the first two pages of this forum. To summarize, snorkeling isn't great at SMB, although there are a few sections like Cemetary Beach where it's passable. Many people snorkel near the ship at Eden Rock (walking distance) if they don't want to book a snorkel tour. Search "snorkel" in this forum and you'll get tons of threads that should answer the majority of your questions.
laurieb Posted September 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2010 Cemetary Beach is good, as is Cheeseburger Reef if you don't mind traveleing offshore a bit. You can walk to Cheeseburger reef, and take a bus to Cemetary Beach.
