Rare whitshel Posted September 18, 2010 #26 Share Posted September 18, 2010 days are shorter in the winter months they do not tender after dark...... I cant imagine that, we've been on 2 rccl cruises to Hawaii with overnight stays in Maui (Tender port), the tenders ran until midnight every hour, then resumed the next morning at 6 am.:o In all acuallity it sounds like nobody knows why...... We were looking at the Spirit in April for a 9 nighter and it does the same thing in Cabo, I too was wondering why.....
CWcruisers Posted September 18, 2010 #27 Share Posted September 18, 2010 It's about the money. The ship cannot open the casino or the shops until it is out to sea. I'm sure the fact that we would stay in Cabo where the beer and drinks are much cheaper than on board also has something to do with it. The reason the NCL ships in Hawaii don't have casinos is because they park overnight.
framerman Posted September 18, 2010 #28 Share Posted September 18, 2010 It's about the Casino and money to be had by CCL. They sure don't want their guests spending their money on land when they could be charge charge charge on the S and S card
