~earthmama~ Posted September 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2010 This JUST dawned on me that we may need transportation to the excursions and therefore need a carseat. Does anyone know what type of transport are used for these two excurions? Glass Bottom Boat FREEPORT, BAHAMAS Ardastra Gardens & City Tour NASSAU, BAHAMAS Thanks! Tbay-eh Posted September 17, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2010 If you are planning any other excursions you might want to note that in most cases they do not have car seats in their taxis or buses - at least the ones I have been on.
Cruisin'Trooper Posted September 17, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2010 We did the city tour with zoo in Nassau when our son was two. There were no car seats available on the bus, so he sat in my lap. I was reluctant in doing so (I'm a homicide investigator and way cautious cop dad) but after talking to others who have been on the tour, I was relieved that the actual driving time in the bus was minimal. It is going to be the rare exception that you ever find one on any of the islands. If you really must have your child ride in one then be sure and take your own. beaming90 Posted September 17, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2010 We did the glass bottom boat in Freeport on our first cruise and it seems like we went on an open air type bus to the place where we got on the boat. It has been a few years ago though...Good luck!

ChefSusan Posted September 17, 2010 #11 Share Posted September 17, 2010 Check with Carnival - they will be able to let you know exactly whether or not you will need to bring a car seat with you on the excursions.
