Larger cabins for 2 only

I am looking to book the Monarch for 3 DH, DS (6) and myself. Just notice the larger ocean view rooms are for only 2 people. Not good planning. would love the extra 30 sqft. Guess we will make the smaller cabin work. Are the cabins on the newer ships larger?

Cabin sizes vary between ships, even in the same category. You really have to do a ship by ship comparison of the same category.
