Bigmike911 Posted September 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2010 The current Cunarder has an interesting view on this portrait of Queen Elizabeth, In addition to a portrait of HM, They have also commissioned David Linley to create a wood marquetry of the original RMS Queen Elizabeth for the ship. So she will have two portraits. One, the Living Queen, and two, the historic ship. Linley is a very accomplished wood working organization who make furniture and other items using well established woodworking techniques. His furniture and designs are quite interesting. Check out his web site for examples. His desks and cigar humidors are truely works of art. http://www.linley.com David Linley is also well connected to the Royal family. Cheers Mike
