Newbie Question - re: Pre-order of Vodka and/or Wine

Hello All:

 

Please excuse this newbie question. I'll be taking my first cruise on the Eurodam on February 26. I'm trying to decide on what liquor options to pre-purchase.

 

I am a VERY big red wine drinker, so I'm pretty sure that I'll purchase myself a 20-drink Wine Card. But, I'm also a big fan of a vodka tonic at night ... I saw that they offer decent priced bottles of vodka for around $30 -- but, I notice it does not specify the size of the bottle? I assume it's a standard 750ml bottle -- can anyone confirm this? Has anyone pre-ordered vodka?

 

If I want to just order tonic water -- does anyone know if that is possible as well?

I posted the same question a while ago and fellow CCers assured me that the liquor bottles are one liter in size, quite a bit better than 750 ml! :)

 

I'm not sure about ordering tonic water, but you are allowed to bring it onboard with you at no charge. :cool:

We always order a bottle of Vodka -- 1 liter bottle.

You can buy cans of tonic at any bar. Just tell them that you do not want them to open the can.

I just checked my "No Host" mini bar and there is a can of tonic on the list -- $1.95 plus 15% gratuity. It will be replaced each day and a bill will be left in your cabin.

Just in case you don't want to go to a bar and buy one - same price.
