Berk987 Posted September 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2010 anyone know the star rating or area? Thanks Is there shuttle from the FLL airport? Don't think there is a shuttle to the port but $15 is fine. Thanks.
RuthlessBunny Posted September 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2010 I believe it's a 3 star. No shuttle from FLL, but cab should be about $20, if that. It's downtown FLL, on Las Olas.

12Cruise Posted September 23, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 23, 2010 I need help and have a question: On hoteldealsrevealed dot com/pricelinestrategies Under the Hotwire Hotel Tips for Las Olas - Downtown - Port Everglades, it shows: 3 1/2 stars for Hilton Marina 3 1/2 stars for Renaissance 3 stars for Hyatt Place North 3 stars for Riverside My dates are Jan 1 - 3. And when I go to Hotwire and enter those dates it shows 3 1/2 stars for $109. Are you saying that would be the Riverside? I really would prefer the Renaissance. What is the walking distance difference to grocery stores and liquor stores from the Riverside? Thnx!!
PeterPan Posted September 23, 2010 #9 Share Posted September 23, 2010 It could be. Hotwire definately lists it as 3 1/2 stars, not 3. Try and match up the amenities listed a few post up from here.
grenouille Posted September 23, 2010 #10 Share Posted September 23, 2010 For Hotwire- the Riverside is the 3.5 stars, with the amenites I listed above. (in the Las Olas, Dwntwn, PE area) The Renaissance (as well as the Hilton Marina) are 4 stars in that same area. Renaissance has the following amenites: Non-smoking, fitness, pool, restaurant, business ctr, high speed internet Hilton has the same, but does not have the Non-smoking icon. Right now, on Hotwire, I see the Riverside for $164 night, and the Renaissance for $183 a night for Jan 1, 2, 3. Good luck!
12Cruise Posted September 24, 2010 #11 Share Posted September 24, 2010 Thank you, PeterPan and grenouille....I think I am going to try Priceline for either the Hilton Marina or the Renaissance. I'm currently booked at the Embassy, just trying to get something a bit cheaper. ;)

Do you remember if there is one within say a block or two of the Riverside? There is a CVS about 3 blocks away on Federal Hwy just north of Broward Blvd. The nearest grocery store is Publix on Andrew Avenue, one mile away. That Publix also has a liquor store. 12Cruise Posted September 24, 2010 #17 Share Posted September 24, 2010 Thank you, Royal Cruz. I think I will stay where I am, the Embassy Suites, and continue to see if I can get the Hilton Marina or the Renaissance on Priceline. If not, that is fine. ;)
