Last Minute Table for 2??

Alright, DH just asked for us to be changed from YTD to fixed dinner. I don't know what he was thinking but after 28 years I wasn't going to argue. Is there ANY chance of getting a table for 2 if I visit the maitre'd? Is there a better chance if I tip the maitre'd when making the request?

Are you thinking early or late?? Late is less crowded, so you have a better chance than early.

 

There is always a chance and if he gets you the table, then tip him.

That is about all you can do since Carnival does not take seating requests. Do NOT try the BRIBE technique..

On our last three cruises we have had late seating and requested a table for two and our requested has been granted each time. We are usually go to the dining room as soon as we get on board and they will have a sign telling what time the maitre'd d will be available for request, be there at that time so you can get your request in early!
