FlaGrl4Evr Posted September 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Is Chicken-Chicken within walking distance of the Carnival Cruise Dock? Also, does anyone know if there is indoor or outdoor seating or is it just take-out. We have heard great things about this place and would love to try it on our upcoming trip. Thank-You :)
smilz Posted September 25, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Unless there is more than one, I believe it is about 2 miles east.

bookbabe Posted September 25, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2010 It's over a bit and across the road from Royal Palms, in a small strip mall (West Shore Centre) with a large dive shop at the front. Follow the smell of roasting chickens towards the back of the plaza... :D http://www.caymangoodtaste.com/restaurants_detail.asp?restaurantID=
drew sailbum Posted September 25, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Chicken! Chicken! is in the West Shore Centre, 508B West Bay Road, which is the shopping centre next to Wendy's on West Bay Road. That is not within walking distance of the tender docks but is a short walk from Royal Palms. It is in the Seven Mile Beach area on the way to or from the Turtle Farm or the docks where most stingray tours depart. Chicken! Chicken! features Caribbean wood roasted chicken and island style vegetable sides. They do have indoor seating. For many very grateful ex-pat residents they put on an excellent Thanksgiving Turkey! Turkey! on US and Canadian Thanksgiving Days.

m steve Posted September 27, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 27, 2010 one direction or the other to 7 mile beach within a few blocks. I wouldn't make a special trip to have their chicken. It is very much like rotisserie chicken from a supermarket.

While I agree it may not be worth a special trip, and the regular chicken is like a lot of places' regular grilled chicken. but m steve, I'm surprised you didn't have their jerk chicken and the jicama coleslaw finishing it all with one of their congobars. If you're around Royal Palms on the beach, or near th emovie theater, it's a possible stop.
