Med Cruise Themed Parties?

Having been on a couple of Caribbean Cruises, other than formal nights there were Island Nights.

 

Just wondering if there are any themed parties organised for Mediterranean cruises? If so, I can bring along something suitable to wear.

Since most are so port intensive, I don't remember any theme nights like you will find in the Caribbean/South Pacific cruises we have sailed on.

At the party night on deck the suggested attire is "white". A lot of people wore white if they could.

On our recent Med Cruise on the Ocean, on the upper deck one evening they had an Island Party, with a lovely food buffet (with lots of carved fruits and vegatables), music, dancing, food stations including Bananas Foster being made, and the champagne waterfall (since the Ocean does not have a big atrium).
