Brunch

I disagree with those who are berating the buffets. As with anything, you need to select. The waffles for breakfast are hot at the buffet, lukewarm in the dining room. Asian food is hot, cooked to order and so on. If you take whatever is sitting in a large pan (stew/vegetable/whatever) you don't know how to eat at a celebrity buffet. I forgot the custom omeletes for breakfast.

Yes, tables can be a hassle, but every time my wife convinces me to eat breakfast or lunch in the dining room, my food is not hot, the selection is unexciting and once I made the mistake of ordering a hamburger which was the worst cold hamburger I've ever been served and it took forever because they actually went to the buffet to get it (I asked and yes this was on celebrity).
.>>>>>>> Thank you for these wonderful photos. The only dish that seems a little odd to me is the frogs legs that seem to have been prepared like Buffalo chicken wings!<<<<<<<
Well, guess they make them looking like buffalo wings for two reasons:

1 – If someone is squeamish about eating frog legs, having it look like buffalo wings may be less threatening and easier to stomach.

2 – The folks that ate it can always tell people afterward that it tastes like chicken as it looks like chicken.
Harry, what great food pictures~~thanks!

Glad the pictures are helpful. Since Celebrity has reputation for their food, just thought I create a food based photo album for all future cruisers to see for themselves what they may be encountering on their next Celebrity cruise.

Couple things happen when you take so many food pictures during the cruise:

1 – People in line look at you with funny looks as you walk up to every area to take pictures every food station. Need to be somewhat thick skinned to do this.

2 – My family has to be patient when the food arrives at dinner at the MDR for me to take picture of every item before they dive in. The folks at the next table or the waiters must be thinking I am a first time cruiser that don’t travel much and gets all excited over the smallest details.

Enjoy your cruise next year.

Your food pics inspired me to write a live food blog on our last cruise. I worked for quite a few days to figure out which app on my IPad would allow me post while we were still on the ship. Thank you for your dedication to your art, from a fellow cruise food lover who wouldn't be caught without her camera at a dining room table or buffet line. And by the way...who cares what others think...they will certainly be happy when they in cruise withdrawal, sitting at home, in front of their computers, just wishing they were being served one of those mouth watering meals, or filling their tray at a lunch buffet with all those delicious selections.

My photos are in no way the quality of yours, and I rarely took pics of any plates other than my own when we were served. My biggest problem was remembering to take the photo BEFORE I took a bite!!! Keep up the good work :)

Happy cruising...Joanne

My experience with the brunch was not a pleasant one except that they had cinnamon rolls.

There was no escorting us to a table, the tables were dirty, people were coming and going constantly, and we had to ask waiters multiple times to get a drink.

The food seemed a repeat of things we had already had on the cruise.

I had high hopes for it, but unfortunately it didn't live up to any of them. I'm sure that other people have had good experiences with it though.

I would go again just to get the cinnamon rolls - shh, don't tell others they have them!

I much prefer to be seated and waited on and am not much of a buffet fan.

But I loved the brunch on Constellation. (So much for the only "buffet" people like the brunch theory.) We were escorted to a table which was quite clean (I most certainly would have noticed if it wasn't, and I saw staff changing table cloths as people left.) Our beverages were brought to us and were re-filled as necessary.
