11:35AM Flight from MIA

We will be arriving at Port Everglades from a transatlantic cruise on a Sunday morning and would like to book a 11:35AM flight out of MIA. If we did express walk-off and hired a private transport would it work? Has any one done this?

It is a 45+ minute ride from PE to MIA. If you are off the ship and clear of customs by 8:15 and if your transport is waiting, and if there are no traffic issues you could be at MIA shortly after 9:00 for your 10:30 flight.

 

That is more "if's" than I would be comfortable with :eek: -- is there a flight at noon or later that would work?:confused: Do you want to spend the last day of your cruise worried about making an early flight? If anything goes wrong, you're out of luck.:(

MIA is a disaster, every day of the week. ESPECIALLY if you are flying American. Remember, Port Of Miami is also letting out a bunch of passengers. You'll need at least an hour to check your bags and an hour to clear security. On a good day.

 

11:30 would be incredibly stressful and not really realistic.

Our last cruise from the caribbean came in late to Port Everglades and we only flew out of Fort Lauderdale......let alone yours is transatlantic and having to travel to the airport............take a later flight!!!!!

 

The money saved is not worth the stress. Can it be done......sure IF everything goes well......but there are alot of IFs.

Thanks everyone......I agree...it wouldn't be worth the stress. I will either over night and fly out Monday AM or pay a lot more and fly out of FLL that Sunday.
