I would give the same advice to 30 somethings, 40 somethings, 50 somethings, 60 somethings.. well you get the picture...

Have a great time, enjoy yourself, and treat others including the staff with respect..

As a 20-something myself, just be yourself! If you're asking this question at all, you're probably not the person who's going to run around "ruining others' vacation". Also remember that you can't please everyone, and anyone, regardless of age, is bound to do something to irritate those folks. All you can do is apologize, move on, and not take it personally. :)

Depending on what ship you're going on, Skywalkers is where the "younger crowd" tends to be at night.

Hope I said all that right.

You guys will have a great time! My DH and I are 20-somethings who usually sail with another couple of 20-somethings. Skywalkers does tend to have a younger crowd at night, that's a good place to hang out, as is any of the pool areas. Also, be friendly to the other passengers and you'll immediately make new friends, even ones who are your parents' age.

I'm 20-something myself, and I'll be going on my very first cruise March 19-th on Sun Princess. So far I have the feeling I'll be the only one from this age-group. But oh well.... I'm sure I'll have a good time anyways, people are people regardless of age...as long as you're young at heart.... live and let others be! :)

Have a great cruise!

My sister, BF, my Bf and myself were on the CB New Year's Sailing, we are all in our twenties. There were TONS of young people on board, especially since it was holiday time. I felt the crowd at Skywalkers was a bit younger than us, we are 24 and 26 and they seemed to be more like the 18-22 crowd, which would have been fine if they weren't all so obnoxious.

We all tended to stick together and met some nice people in the casino and by the pool. We found a lot of young people to be very pushy and obnoxious, there were a lot of New Yorkers on our boat (and New Jersey), sorry you to you New Yorkers, but some of you guys give you all a reputation. These young people were loud, pushy, and not friendly. But to answer your question...you will have a blast, especially since you are going with your friends. I found it difficult to meet others, but there was tons to do and my trip really isn't centered around the others on the boat anyhow. Have a blast!

My GF and I are on the Golden in May and we are in our late 20's. We were concerned about the age bracket, but decided that Princess seems to attract a wide variety of ages. Also there is no way to truly predict what the demographics will be, any group of passengers can walk onto any ship, so you never know until you are there. Yes you can make general assumptions that certain ages travel certain lines, but you still will never know until you board that ship. It would be a great idea if you could just go to a website and punch in your sailing date and the cruise line just give you a list of what kind of demographics are sailing then.
