larryvel Posted October 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2010 Hi all - This will be a short review due to the many reviews already on the board. I spent most of my time in the Courtyard area. I did the three slide on port days and had no problem riding them as much as I wanted. On sea days the slides were very full and long lines. On our sailing I was told that many of the courtyard villas were not in use due to them making some changes to those cabins. With the work going on in the Courtyard Villas there was little business in any of the courtyard areas. Epic Club for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are two additional selections for dinner of both entry and app. Very good service and food in this restaurant. The Epic Lounge and Epic Bar were not in use much by anyone. Finally, I'm sure that when the Courtyard area is sold out there would be more people using these facilities. p.s. There are sectioned out seats for the big shows for courtyard guest. Thats all for now.
mafig Posted October 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2010 Did you find the Courtyard area excessively windy? Hot? What category were you in?
HazyDavy Posted October 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2010 p.s. There are sectioned out seats for the big shows for courtyard guest. Thats all for now. Is this new? Others reported that the concierge met them 30 minutes before the show and walked them in but that there were not sectioned off seats. I think you are the first to report that there are. Are they doing this in Cirque Dreams also?
culley24 Posted October 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 12, 2010 Two of my three kids spent the majority of sea days on the slides. The purple slide never had a line. The green slide may have had 4 or 5 people at times. The plunge had about a 10 minute wait for a float and also up top. I didnt think it was bad at all. Are they doing this in Cirque Dreams also? They had the ropes at both the Blue Man and Legands which are both in the Epic Theater. At Cirque Dreams our butler (Roel) escorted us and we got good seats.
erdoran Posted October 13, 2010 #6 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Would you happen to know if the special suite seating was for all categories, or only the more expensive suites like CVs and DOS?
cruisewmn Posted October 13, 2010 #7 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Thanks for the updates! Do you have any idea what they were working on in some of the suites?
