Key West Hotel - Parrot Key Resort

My husband and I will be going to Key West for a few days after our cruise in January. We are looking at booking 3 nights at the Parrot Key Resort. Has anyone stayed there and if so could you share your comments/thoughts on this resort?

I haven't stayed there but your posting prompted me to check the website. It looks like a very nice resort. Personally I would not stay there in January because it is 2 miles from downtown and parking downtown can be a challenge in the winter season. If you just plan to relax at the resort then it is perfect.

Hi, I have been looking at this resort for a few months..would like to stay there for a few days in March..I believe they will shuttle you downtown. I would stay there, it looks amazing!

There is a shuttle that goes around the island but if the resort will shuttle you, I would do that.

 

Otherwise, as royalcruz noted, you do not want to be two miles from the action.

My SIL and BIL stayed there this past March and couldn't say enough about it. Pictures they took are gorgeous. They would go back in a heartbeat.
