lurkster Posted October 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2010 Are they legit? Anyone know somebody that won? I assume the same company runs all lotteries on all fleets, and do they reset it to min on regular basis or only when it is won?
kitty9 Posted October 24, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2010 If I may ask, what are you asking about? I've not seen a lottery on a cruise ship.
Coastalbreezes Posted November 24, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 24, 2010 Just off the Gem and they had something similar to Powerball called "Paradise Lotto" -- think it cost around $2 and they drew numbers each night but like Powerball you had to match all 5 numbers to hit the jackpot which was aound $365K when I got off the ship. Not sure if it was connected to all NCL ships or ALL cruise lines? TracyE

AndyTheK Posted January 4, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 4, 2011 Haven't seen anything like this on Princess. Not that I looked for it, but I can't imagine it wouldn't have been ballyhooed over the casino PA system if it existed, like the tournaments and bingo. Second thought - there was a sign near the entrance to the casinos - something about a BMW. But I didn't really pay attention. If there were announcements, they'd have gone in one ear and out the other. Shalom and Happy New Year. Andy.
