Does Grandeur OTS really smell?

We are also going on the Grandeur in April. When we sailed on her in 1997, we never noticed any odor. Probably won't even notice it, we'll be having to much fun!

We were deck 4, inside, week of Aug 15th. Never noticed anything while on the ship. Once when docked, noticed the smell when on the dock, assumed they were pumping sewage tanks. Also, Grandeur had a brief drydock last Nov., and I assume if they were getting many complaints they would have fixed the problem.

We're just off the 2/12/2005 sailing. We were in stateroom 2568 and noticed it in the hallway a few times. One day, when I walked into the bathroom after the door had been shut for several hours, I smelled it. But it seemed to go away as fast as it arrived! I didn't smell it anywhere else on the ship.

 

As clinicmgr said, it was intermittent.
