SisterSam Posted October 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2010 I was wondering other then the bowling alley, casino, shows at night and the lounges, what is there to do on board to keep you busy when your not in port?
CruiserBruce Posted October 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2010 You should probably ask this on the NCL board.

debnpaul Posted October 17, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 17, 2010 There's a lot to do on the Pearl aside from the bowling, casino and shows! There is a big sports area to shoot hoops, there is a library, a card room/game room, kids' area, pools, hot tubs, rock climbing wall, tons of activities advertised in the dailies - like trivia, game shows, silly contests, wine or margarita or martini tastings, crafts, lectures, onboard shops, Wii. For a fee, I believe there is a behind-the-scenes tour that is pretty highly touted. Another fun thing to do, is forward on the deck 11 - there is an bridge observation area that is pretty neat. There is definitely something for every age bracket and interest. The Pearl is a fun ship - we were on it last January and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book it again. Azure Moon Posted October 18, 2010 #6 Share Posted October 18, 2010 ...and shuffleboard, a large sit-in video game/ride in Bliss Lounge, slot machine/video games in Bliss Lounge and, IIRC, in Spinnaker Lounge, the White Hot Party in a lounge, one night we spent a few minutes out in the pool area while a musician(s) played and they had a drink special going on, I think our Pearl cruise was the one where hubby and I watched a movie in our cabin, sit in the area of the restaurants and listen to music while people watching, find a seat outside and just enjoy the night air, explore the ship's terrific wall art inside and outside ----I especially loved the huge photos of animals at each of the stair landings  there's the fitness room, the spa, bingo, casino, hanging out with new friends you met onboard... We loved the Pearl and would love to sail on it again. You're sure to have a wonderful - and busy time - on that wonderful ship!
