martymonty Posted October 24, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2010 Hi I have been reading about the new policies carnival has for bringing wine onboard the ship. Seems that we now have to put it in our carry on luggage Does this luggage stay with you when you are checking in on the ship or do you give it to a steward with your larger bags. Seems we should keep it with us as it has liquor in it, this way it will not get taken??
gizfish Posted October 24, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2010 You will carry your own carry-on luggage with you everywhere you go until you are able to access your room.

Your carryon luggage stays with you throughout the entire boarding process until you finally take it to your cabin. You'll give your checked luggage to a porter (works for the port has nothing to do with Carnival) and he'll make sure your luggage gets placed onboard. It will then be placed by the doorway to your cabin (sometimes the steward will place your luggage in your cabin for you, not likely though). When you can access your cabin you'll take your carryon into the cabin with the rest of your luggage.
