Two Celebrity ships, Infinity and Millennium sighted in Panama Canal on 6 October.

Nice pics. I was on Infinity at the time. I was neat to see the sister ship go through after us. like seeing it from another point of view. :)

We were on the Millennium when we met the Infinity on this April's Panama Canal cruise. It really made the transit that much more special for us.

We will be on Millie April 18th Panama Canal transit . Perhaps Infinity will again be there ? That would be great to see her with us going through the canal

It strikes me as odd that the ship's bow was available for guest sightseeing during the canal transit on Millennium but not Infinity... Anything more to the difference than Captain preference/whim?

We were on Millenium (westbound) last spring & also passed Infinity in Gatun Lake, however, Infinity allowed passengers on the bow & Millenium did not. The Millie Captain at the time, Zisis Taramas, said that he does not allow passengers on the bow due to safety concerns unless Miami puts it in writing, which, according to him, they won't.

Captain Taramas was our captain on Mille for this cruise and he did allow pax onto the helipad for a lot of the transit. Perhaps Miami got him to change his mind? :)

We were allowed on the helipad in the afternoon on this trip. Maybe people started asking about it when they saw people on the helipad on Millennium. Deck 11 on the bow was packed when we went through our first set of locks. It was much less busy for the Gatun locks as people went to other places on the ship. :)
