Best place to eat

Where would you say the best place to eat would be? We're looking for a restaraunt to eat at after a wedding (just 6 people total). Any suggestions?

Where is the wedding and what time of day? Herve is always a good choice and is close to Havensight. Great views and wonderful food. Google them.:)

Another I liked was Bella Blu but it is more casual. The first 2 are a bit fancier.

Check out Oceana in Frenchtown. Had an outstanding meal there a few years ago while staying on St Thomas. Real nice setting. It is an old plantation house on the water in a quiet cove. Oceana

What about downtown on a Tuesday? We usually do Greenhouse as Mr. Ski loves their black bean soup. But thought maybe I could convince him to try something else. Any suggetions? If so, what type food and location (in downtown area). Thanks.

To the OP: You need to be careful with recommendations. I do not believe that Oceana is open for lunch, for example, although it is a great dinner spot.

Thanks. I have heard of Cuzzins and also Gladys' but haven't eaten at either and don't know where either are. Where is Cuzzins in relation to main shopping street? Let's say which direction, etc. from A.H. Riise just as a point of reference?

Cuzzin's is on Back Street. There is Waterfront, Main Street, then Back Street Street, as you go from the water. If you go down Raadets Gade, turn left and it will be right there. Very close to shopping.

If your wedding is at Lindquist, now called Smith's Bay Beach, I would stop at the XO Bistro in Red Hook. It's on your right as you go back through Red Hook just behind Duffy's Love Shack. Not much to look at but excellent food.
