I have not been on a cruise yet but I will be doing Italy Greece and Turkey in about a month. We are going a few days early so we can relax and check out Italy before. I would suggest atleast wherever you choose to be your first port, go a few days and relax or stay a few days after and relax. The cruise seems pretty busy (we are doing a 9 night with 6 ports of call) and not too relaxing for a honeymoon.

For a honeymoon you might want something truly special. Look at Seabourn.com. They do have sales on their Med cruises right now and they are less expensive that you might think. The price includes all food and drinks, including wine, liquor, water for excursions and going ashore, gourmet food, ALL gratuities, shuttles to the port, etc, etc. Look at their CC board. Check them out.
